This collection — designed for I Got a Thing for Chairs — explores the art of sitting and the meaning of chairs. From form follows vanity to form follows intended place of use. Chairs shift in meaning depending on their context and environment. Het Keramisch Huis reinterprets ten of the most prevalent chairs for them, translating these familiar forms into new objects from clay to ceramics.

Material: Ceramics with glaze finish
Measurements: Each object is unique; Varying ± L12 x W9 x D0.5 cm

* The chairs have a hole at the back from which the work can be hung. Each piece comes in a protected packaging, including a suitable nail and gum to add as extra support.
